Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe and 8GB @1066

Since I bought this board, I’ve pulled almost all my hairs out trying to make it running without BSOD.

But I did it. Here are the magic BIOS settings that will let you run 8GB at 1066MHz on Vista Ultimate 64bits without BSOD.

The ring:

  • AMD Phenom 9850
  • Corsair 4×2GB TWIN2×4096-8500C5D
  • 2x ATI Readon 3870 512MB
  • Vista 64 Ultimate SP1
  • ATI Catalyst 8.11
  • ASUS M3A32-MVP bios 1302

Now the awaited BIOS configuration:

DDRAM Voltage: 2.2V (You’re out of Corsair warranty, but below it won’t work)
AI Clock skew channel A: [delay 150ps]
AI Clock skew channel B: [advanced 300ps]
Northbridge voltage: 1.4
Trfc: 195ns All channels
Ram timings: 5-5-5-20-25

Now the Phenom is easily overclocked to 3.0GHz and stays below 60° without water cooling..if anyone is interesting in the overclocking settings, ask in the comments!
